Our Story: Born From the Hands of an Injector

After more than 6,000 filler injections, Jennifer Canesi knew there had to be a better way.

As one of New England’s leading aesthetic injectors, Jennifer spent years perfecting her craft combining anatomy, artistry, and precision to create beautiful, natural results for her patients. But with thousands of injections came thousands of repetitive movements, long treatment days, and the physical demands placed on an injector’s most valuable tools: their hands.

After years of injecting and thousands of treatments, Jennifer began to look at the injection process differently. She saw an opportunity to make the experience more comfortable and intuitive for injectors.

A Better Way to Inject

The answer became the Luxi™.

Created by an injector, for injectors, the Luxi™ was designed to support handling, comfort, and confidence behind every treatment. Jennifer recognized that while injectable techniques continued to advance, the tools injectors relied on had remained largely unchanged.

She envisioned a device that worked with the injector, not against them. A tool designed around the way aesthetic professionals actually inject.

Where Innovation Meets Injection

The Luxi™ was developed with ergonomics at the forefront, helping support a more comfortable and controlled injection experience.

Designed for aesthetics professionals, the Luxi™ provides:

 A broader thumb contact surface
 Compatability with multiple syringe types
A more ergonomic shape
Integrated aspiration functionality
An enhanced user’s handling experience

Every detail was thoughtfully considered to help injectors feel more confident and comfortable throughout their treatment day.

Elevating the Art of Injection

Aesthetic medicine is both science and artistry. Behind every exceptional result is an injector’s skill, experience, and ability to make precise decisions in real time. The right tools should enhance that expertise, not create additional challenges.

The Luxi™ was created to support the hands behind the artistry. Whether performing subtle refinements or advanced facial balancing, injectors deserve tools that allow them to focus on what they do best: creating beautiful results for their patients.

The Future of Injection Starts Here

The Luxi™ is more than an accessory. It is a new approach to the injection experience, one built on innovation, ergonomics, and a deep understanding of what injectors need.

Born from thousands of injections and a passion for improving the craft, the Luxi™ represents the next evolution in aesthetic tools.

Because exceptional results start with skilled hands. And skilled hands deserve better tools.

Discover the Luxi™ and experience the difference.

Meet The Founders

Jennifer Canesi

Jennifer Canesi, ANP-BC has practiced aesthetic medicine full-time since 2009 and is the founder of Boston Medical Aesthetics, one of Boston’s longest-running medical aesthetic practices. Over her 16+ year career, she has performed tens of thousands of injectable treatments, trained and mentored injectors at every level, and helped advance professional standards as a founding member of Aesthetic Medical Providers of Massachusetts (AMP-MA).

After more than a decade of injecting, Jennifer saw an opportunity to rethink one of the most fundamental tools in her practice. What began as a simple idea for herself and her team became The Luxi™, a thoughtfully designed device created specifically for aesthetic injectors.

With engineering expert Blake Sama, Jennifer pursued patent protection and founded Luxi to bring that idea to injectors everywhere.
